ICHIBUNS, located in SOHO, London. It is quite a new restaurant because I haven’t noticed it when I passed before. There was a Kawaii (adorable) girl standing outside of the restaurant and providing snacks. We checked the menu at the window, decided to give a try. On the way entering, I took a snack from the entrance, it’s sort of roll, got cold and became not crispy in the cold outside, tasted not interesting. At that time, I actually thinking to turn around and find another restaurant.
The decoration of ICHIBUNS is Japanese, lively and creative. Open kitchen with bar surrounded, the noise is a little bit loud for me, but ICHIBUNS is more like a fast food place. The food comes with paper containers, so I guess it’s fast food.
What I have tasted?
We ordered one Salmon&Avocado sushi, which costs £6, one King Crab noodles, which costs £11 and one Cod fillet burger, which costs £10.50.
The Salmon&avocado sushi tastes so so so good, i haven’t tried so much Japanese restaurant in England. But so far, this is the best I tried. Highly recommend!
The king crab noodles is tasty as well, just a bit too salty. Does the miso soup suppose to be that salty?
Then it’s the cod fillet burger, I wouldn’t expect nice burger from a Japanese restaurant. In fact, the fillet is made of Salmon, crispy outside and soft inside. Recommend!
